What does Religion do?

It poisons everything.

It infects us in our most basic integrity. It says that we can’t be moral without a “Big Brother” (A reference to George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four) or a totalitarian permission. It means we can’t be good to one another or we can’t think without this. We must be afraid. We must also be forced to love someone whom we fear.

It’s of the essence of abjection, it’s of the essence of the master-slave relationship. Aside from the fact that it is stupidity, it’s the opposite, isn’t it?

Ethical life is possible without Religion and you know it. 😉

  1. I don’t know what religion you’re talking about, but it’s not Christianity if that’s how you describe it. I’m curious as to what has lead you to think like this?
